We believe that multi disciplinary science is the future for research and development.
Therefore, we as a group of enthusiastic researchers, established furtile environment for technological developments.
This in terms of computer facilities (HPC and servers) and human resources.
We have huge knowledge in computational techniques, in particular, the boundary integral equation methods.
We have developed our software package, named the [ PLPAK ], which analyses tall buildings including nonlinear soil-structure interaction.
We constantly improve our computational facilities and increase our level in mathematics, computing, physics and engineering applications.
This is done by putting huge concerns in capacity building of our knowledge and skills.
We motivate our team members to participate in international research projects, consultation tasks, held international workshops, and publish their findings in highly ranked international periodicals.
We are seeking collaboration with other research teams, individuals at different universities, institutes and consultation companies all over the world.
We also welcome any joint seminars, workshops and mini conferences.
We will also be pleased to prepare a tailored training program upon request.
At the end, we believe in group work, we believe in values, we believe in research and development. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you want to join our success.
Professor Youssef F. Rashed
To establish and contribute to a sustainable scientific research school among researchers (PhDs, MScs, graduate and undergraduate students) and practicing engineers. This school aims to develop and to use computer-aided applications in daily structural engineering particularly the use of the Boundary Integral Equation (Boundary Element) Method.
1 -
To participate in national and international research projects.
2 -
To apply our developed research to practical engineering applicayions.
3 -
To organize international workshops to disseminate our developed research and to receive feedback.
4 -
To motivate researchers to publish their work in highly ranked international journals.
5 -
To integrate different researchers from different universities, disciplines, or levels (post doctors, PhDs, MScs, graduate and undergraduate students) in a unique research environment.
6 -
To continually update our knowledge by current and new research in mathematics, computing, engineering, and physics.
7 -
To upgrade our computing facilities to match our speed in knowledge gaining.
8 -
To continuously carry out new developments in our in-house developed software package [ PLPAK ].
